Thanks to its temperate climate, Tuscany is an ideal destination for golf lovers as it allows play throughout most of the year. There are many golf clubs in Tuscany. The Golf Club Castelfalfi course is one of the most stunning for landscape and views and also one of the most challenging, built according to principles of sustainability and with minimal artificial elements. It is located between Florence and Pisa, set in the 1,100 hectar grounds of the Castelfalfi Estate featuring an impressive castle and borgo (hamlet), vineyard and olive grove. 

With 27 holes divided into two courses, it is entertaining for experts and amateurs alike. There is also a driving range with grass tees, covered areas for golf clinics and a small Club House with a bar and a delightful panoramic terrace.

Both courses were recently re-designed by two expert architects: Rainer Preissmann and Wilfried Moroder, both EIGCA associates – European Institute of Golf Course Architects – London.

Argentario Golf Club

This nice course is located in Mugello Valley, located 25 km north of Florence. The excellent 18-hole golf course was proud home of the Ladies Italian Open from 1999 to 2003, and recognized among the top 15 courses in all of Italy.
