Our large family quickly fell under the spell of the
villas breathtaking views. The big open grassy field,
mature olive trees, tiny bamboo forest, wildflowers
and lovely swimming pool, and the fabulous backdrop
of the Tuscan countryside, provided a wonderful outdoor
experience for adult and child alike. On the days
we chose to venture out, the well-situated estate
was as a perfect launching point for day trips to
Florence, St. Gimignano, Siena, Pisa, and Lucca. Carla's
delicious cuisine served with warmth and sincere hospitality
was one of the highlights of our stay."
