from Los Angeles, we weren’t sure what to expect
as we drove up the road to the house. Villa Casseline
is even prettier than the pictures on the website.
The setting is bucolic and unspoiled, with panoramic
views of the olive groves and hills. It is magical
to sit on the terrace as the sun goes down and then
walk in the very quiet night with the fireflies snapping
and the crickets chirping. The house is a wonderful
mix of elegance and up-to-date convenience, both charming
and comfortable. Yves is a great host, dispensing
perfect directions and great advice, plus is a lot
of fun to talk with. Carla is an excellent cook and
our sons loved watching her in the kitchen. We will
recommend this house to all of our friends and we
will be back!"
